Rakahanga is one in a series of abstract, acrylic paintings on paper. Filled with movement and energy, each piece in the collection explores different uses of the same elements. To me, they resemble maps, and so each piece is named after an island in the Cook Islands archipelago. The series is called Cartographic Distractions, and each piece measures 9x12 inches. This small painting would make a welcome addition to any art collector's portfolio, be a thoughtful gift, or a luxury design element in any home or office decoration theme.
