You know how your grandmother placed everything that was important, on top of a doily?  Whether a religious statue, a family portrait, or a porcelain figurine of a ballerina or a tiger ready to pounce, what was placed on a doily was important, and required special care and protection.
 
Nature Remembered is a fine art photographic zine that presents the series of images created by phtoographer Bogdan Mihai, with words by John Bishop.  Bogdan has created doilies out of natural elements, and superimposed them on photos of ceramic animals to highlight the importance of taking care of nature and the environment.  One day, we may only have these statues to remind us of what we've lost.
