This mixed media painting on canvas is part of the Panca Marga series in the first of five installments, released in 2021. There are 20 images in this installment called: The Path of Accumulation. These paintings explore the Buddhist notion that at this first of the five roads to perfection, each of us brings with us all of the experiences, knowledge, virtues and vices from our lives thus far. The paintings are busy, layered, and yet harmonious and somehow ordered. We bring all that we are to the journey, celebrating the diversity and depth of our experience as we begin our way down the road of accumulation.  20x16 inches.
